Introduction
Project Planner Collaborative Network is a service ("Service" or "Project Planner Collaborative Network") that allows the users to join, store and share their projects created in Project Planner application (“App” or “Project Planner”). Once you have joined or created a project, you can share project, resources, and similar ("Content" or "User Generated Content") with the users you participate in. This privacy policy describes how Peritum.Net collect your information whenever you use our Services, what information is collected, how it is used and with whom the information is shared. "Services" includes all the ways you may interact with us; through our mobile applications, websites, or any other interaction. The information that Peritum.Net collects, uses and shares includes, among others, your registration information, metadata, location data, and data about your device. Your information is saved and processed in the United States of America, Germany and Poland, as further explained below. We will only keep your information as long as this is necessary in accordance with this policy. Project Planner users and other third parties do not have access to personal information that can be used to contact you without your approval. This Privacy Policy sets out the terms and conditions for treatment and use of the personal information provided by you or collected from you to Peritum.Net when you use our services. By downloading or using the Project Planner and Project Planner Collaborative Network, you are accepting the terms and practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Collection and Use of Your Information and Data
When you use the Services, there will be certain information and data (collectively called "Data") that you will send to us, or that we will collect from you. In certain situations, such collection is necessary to ensure the best user experience of our Services, and in other cases it is to aid in the development and improvement of the Services. This section will set out important details regarding the collection and use of your Data.
Data that we collect and why
Registration – During registration of an account on the App, we collect your e-mail address and password. On order to verify your identity or sign into the App, entering a username and password is required.
Once registered, the username you enter in the user's profile will serve as your username across several of our Services, and may be displayed to other users in the projects you participate in. Your e-mail can be used to recover a forgotten password, and as a method for Peritum.Net to contact you. See the clause on “Communications between you and Peritum.Net” for more information.
General Use – We may collect and aggregate identifying information regarding your use of our Service, including, session times, your behavior in and interaction with our Services, and data sent and received. In addition, we may also collect information about the device on which you are using these Services, including the type of device, the operating system you are running, certain settings on your device, unique device identifiers, and Project Planner crash data. We collect this information in order to provide the best possible user experience, and improve the Project Planner and our Services.
Personal Data – We collect data your email, which is required for authentication and username which is required for sharing data.
Metadata – We collect timestamps for when certain events occur, including, but not limited to, when a project is created, when Content (as defined below) is posted, and when an account is created. This information is collected for analytical purposes.
Project, tasks and similar – We collect the projects, tasks, resources or similar user generated content ("User Generated Content" or "Content") that you send through the Project Planner, or any other Service we provide. This is in order to make our Services function as it should, and this data is only kept for as long as required. For further information, please see the clause on "Data Deletion" below.
Third party collection – We may allow other entities to use cookies and similar tracking services on the Project Planner or our Services.
Compliance – We may give personal or account data in response to requests from law enforcement officials conducting investigations, subpoenas, a court order, or if we are otherwise required to lay open such information by law.
Marketing – We may share non-personal data with third parties such as advertising partners. This data does not personally identify you or any other user.
Statistical Information – We may gather and aggregate non-identifying information regarding your use of our Service, including username, UID and data sent and received. In addition, we may also collect information about the device you’re using the App on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you’re using, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Your data may be transferred, stored, processed and used in the United States and other countries where Twitter, Google and Crashlytics operate. The local data-protection and privacy laws in these countries may offer fewer protections than those in your country of residence or from any country where you use or access the services. We collect this information in order to improve Project Planner and our Services.
- We may use Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. To process information about users of Project Planner, including gender, age and interests, in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable way. This is collected so that we can know our audience and users better. This information may be shared with external parties for the same purpose. Google Analytics is owned and operated by Google Inc.
- We may use Firebase Analytics. It may collect data about you, including by use of identifiers for mobile devices (including Advertising Identifier for iOS), cookies and similar technologies. Firebase Analytics is owned and operated by Google Inc. There is an option for you to disable Firebase Analytics within the app - for more information regarding this please see our FAQ section. Firebase uses subprocessors as set out in this link for analysing this data - https://firebase.google.com/terms/subprocessors. - We may use Crashlytics. It may automatically collect certain information that does not personally identify users who access or use the App. This information includes, but is not limited to, device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, information relating to how an application functions, and the physical location of a device at the time of a crash. Crashlytics is owned and operated by Google Inc. The information may be shared with third party service providers, including, but not limited to, Crashlytics. Crashlytics may use aggregate and anonymous information to: improve Crashlytics, create analysis of trends or behaviors, and other similar uses. - We may use Answers. It may collect the name and app store identifier of such Answers Kit Application, the bundle identifier and build version of that application,
unique mobile device identifiers (e.g. IDFA) and the associated interest based advertising opt out preference as applicable, full IP addresses, timestamps, device model name,
device operating system name and version number, the language and country settings of the device, the number of CPU cores on the device, whether a device is jailbroken,
custom application events defined by Developer and the associated attributes, application events predefined by Google and the associated attributes, app lifecycle events (iOS).
Answers is owned and operated by Google Inc. Google may collect and use said data to improve their products and services and for analytics purposes. Third parties such as Google may disclose aggregated data. For information on how you can opt out of interest based advertising, please see our FAQ section.
General information regarding your Data
Data – All types of data that you upload may be removed by us without warning. Your data is not publicly available, unless you share it to users you participate in. By sharing Content, you accept that this Content may be featured on external websites or applications as well. Service Providers – The Services are run through servers and different operating system, and cloud storage is provided by Google Firebase Realtime Database and Google Cloud Storage. The cloud storage services are provided from and information is stored in the United States of America and Germany. Compliance – Where required by law enforcement officials conducting investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or otherwise required by law, we may provide any of the Data listed above in response.
How we process your data
Data processor and data controller
With regards to your Data, Peritum.Net is the data controller. Peritum.Net may at any time have agreements with data processors in other parts of the world, including USA, Asia or Europe, who will process your data in accordance with applicable data privacy law. By downloading and using the Project Planner you consent that your data may be transferred, stored, processed and used in the United States of America and other countries where Google any third party service providers acting on their behalf, are operating. You also confirm that you are aware that the privacy and data protection laws in some of these countries may vary from the laws in the country where you live.
Storage and use of your Data
Peritum.Net may not use your Data for any purposes other than those stated in this Privacy Policy. We will only store your Data for as long as necessary in order to fulfil these purposes.
Securing your Data
Our database is protected from unauthorized access using passwords and IP-address whitelisting.
Peritum.Net and Google perform backups of the database.
Communications between you and Peritum.Net
Push Notifications – Project Planner uses push notifications to allow you to stay updated on the project and users that you follow. Push notifications can be deactivated on most devices through the preferences or settings on the device. You can also choose within the App if you want to receive notifications or not. E-mail – We may send you e-mails regarding your account, the Project Planner and Service updates, surveys regarding the Project Planner and Service, and changes to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Data Deletion
Images and videos will be removed from our servers once expired, except for situations where we are legally required to keep it. We do not control what users do with the data received, and you confirm that you are aware it is possible to take screenshots or use other image-capturing technologies to reproduce and store content externally, and without consent. Peritum.Net therefore advise that you do not send Content that you do not want someone to save. We are not responsible for the User Generated Content uploaded to our Services or the actions of our users. If you, however, see Content that violates any of our terms, you can contact us at office@peritum.net, and we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records. If you want to delete your account you can contact us at office@peritum.net. We will then delete your account data, including, username, email, password, Facebook data, device notification tokens, device information. Images and videos you have posted will become unavailable for viewing in the stories they were posted. Stories you created may not be deleted, and ownership of your stories may be transferred to another user, or the stories may remain without an owner. Note that your account data may still be present in database backups, until those backups are deleted. If it is of extreme importance to you, backups can be purged of your data. Specify this when requesting to delete your account, as it takes considerable effort from Peritum.Net to do so. With regards to other Data, we will only retain these on our or our third party servers for as long as they are required to fulfil the purposes set out above.
Correcting and Receiving information about your Data
If you see that any information about you in the App is incorrect or missing, please use the App itself to change this information, or if this is not possible, or you are unable to do so, please contact us at office@peritum.net. Subject to any laws requiring confidentiality, you have a right to receive general information about how Peritum.Net uses your personal data. If you wish to receive such information, please contact us at office@peritum.net.
Children
We do not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 years. Anyone that provides personally identifiable information through the Website or Project Planner affirms that they are over 13 years of age. If you become aware of users under the age of 13 we advise that you contact us, and we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records.
Notices and Updates
Peritum.Net reserves the right to change or modify the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the App will constitute your acceptance of any revised agreements. We recommend that you periodically check these agreements for changes. If you choose to use our services, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
The laws of Poland shall govern the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. Should you have a dispute with Peritum.Net, you will first contact us by sending an e-mail to office@peritum.net. Any disputes arising under these Terms of Use shall be sought settled amicably. Unless an amicable solution can be obtained, the dispute shall be subject to ordinary court proceedings.
